God called you into a new season and gave you a building strategy.
This may be a blueprint for your family, business, ministry, health, or whatever area God wants you to build.
For most of us, it started with one thing, but now God wants us to rebuild our entire lives.
But the plan, strategy, or blueprint wasn’t (or isn’t) making sense to you. Or maybe you shared with a few people who discouraged you and even made you doubt whether you heard God right.
So you strayed and started chasing after every other thing but the vision or blueprint that God gave you.
Now you are running around in circles, trying to do what experts in your industry are sharing, but nothing seems to be working.
Some of us have been going in circles for years. We are tired and on the verge of giving up.
Then some are scared and wondering whether they heard God right. The blueprint doesn’t make sense at this point. You have never, let alone heard, anyone do what God has told you to do in this season.
And the enemy is busy feeding you the same doubtful words he fed Eve in the Garden of Eden…
Did God say?
Are You Doing What God Told You to Do?
God is doing something new, and He wants us to walk into this new thing by faith.
Whatever He has given you, that is what you need to follow even if it doesn’t make sense.
If you don’t understand what He’s telling you, go back to the prayer closet and linger in His presence. Let Him show you what He wants to build with and through you. Stop trying to figure things out on your own. Trust what God is saying even if it doesn’t make sense.
Repent
Some of us have compromised what we were given by God. We have abandoned our vineyards because of passivity and have opened up doors to warfare and demonic manipulation.
Some of us are struggling with barrenness in places where we were supposed to be fruitful because we have traded what God gave us for idols—things that bring quick results and temporary pleasures. Then there are those of us who are struggling because of past mistakes and family patterns that have opened up doors for the enemy to steal our harvest.
But mercy is still speaking.
Now, I am not here to condemn anyone. I am here to share what God is teaching and telling me to share in this season.
Yes, I have also compromised. There are things I have been doing that I should have dropped years back because I was comfortable with them.
The results:
Little to no harvest.
Just like the children of Israel I have been going in circles for years.
“You have planted many seeds, but you have gathered only a few crops. You have food to eat, but not enough to get full. You have something to drink, but not enough to get drunk. You have some clothes to wear, but not enough to keep warm. You earn a little money, but you don’t know where it all goes. It’s as though there is a hole in your pocket!” — Haggai 1:6 ERV
And maybe this is your story too.
Abba is telling us to repent and rest in Him.
Why We Struggle to Obey God
Sometimes we suffer because the enemy is attacking our harvest. Other times, it’s because of our own mistakes. And sometimes, it is because of hidden wounds and trauma.
Many of us have been struggling to obey God because of hidden wounds.
That is why the last few years have been intense for many remnants. God has been dealing with our foundations. He has been dealing with wounds, traumas, and wrong belief systems.
Hidden wounds cause us to have a flawed view of God, people, and ourselves; as such, we don’t trust God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. We also don’t show up as our true selves in the assignments that God has given us because of wounds.
But the season has shifted; we need to pick up our new blueprints because building time is here.
We can no longer afford to keep running to Egypt for help because Egypt (the world system and its strategies) doesn’t have solutions to our problems.
God does.
It is time for us to consider our ways because what we are chasing out there is not working. It may work for other people, but it’s not working for you.
Why?
God has chosen you to bear fruit in this new season, but things have to be done His way. You need to remain in Jesus to succeed.
Do What God Told You to Do, Not What Is Trending
Yes, the world in general is not the way it used to be four to five years ago. So much has changed. AI happened. Technology is constantly advancing.
But that doesn’t mean that God is no longer using kingdom builders in this day and age. If anything, the world needs true builders of God to rise and start building the temple of God again (the Body of Christ).
We need to get back to work.
“Go up to the mountains, get the wood, and build the Temple. Then I will be pleased with the Temple, and I will be honored.” This is what the Lord said.” — Haggai 1:8 ERV
Heal, Repent, and Return to God
Heal if you have to. Repent for compromising, and get back in time with God.
He promises that:
“The Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, says, ‘If you come back to me you will be saved. Only by remaining calm and trusting in me can you be strong.’ But you don’t want to do that.” — Isaiah 30:15 ERV
All odds may seem to be working against us, but when we remain calm and trust God with all our hearts, we will regain our strength, get back up again, and fight with our blueprints.
We can’t keep hiding or watching from the sidelines.
All in all:
We are not building using old strategies; they won’t work. We are not doing things the way we used to do them. This time we are building with God.
That means we will pray fervently, build courageously, and thrive where we are planted.
Ask for the spirit of the Lord, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, counsel, might, and fear of the Lord to rest upon you. Isaiah 11:2
